This year moves me to write about what I’m observing in our present Covid aware
Over the last thirty years, Jackie founded and worked at several children centers. She has hands-on experience with children with behavioral issues and has advised families on how to change parenting strategies for the best outcome.
Jackie’s mission is to support parents and caregivers through a personalized, comprehensive process. Her goal is to help create a more harmonious home/school environment, and it’s carried out with collaborative observation, discussion and shared research-based strategies.
Of course you want to know that you’ll be working with someone who has the right academic training and the work experience to match. In Jackie’s own words, here’s a quick overview of what she has studied and what her work achievements are.
Besides my Certificate in Early Education, I have a bachelor’s degree from Simmons College, and a Master of Science from Regis College.
I founded and co-ran Woodsedge Children’s Center, in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Woodsedge II, in Hudson, Massachusetts. I started and ran the MetroWest YMCA Children’s Center, founded the MetroWest Association for the Education of Young Children; taught pediatric first aid, and trained EEC trainers at the YMCA. I have chaired groups such as Sudbury Early Advisory Council and Minuteman Technical School Early Childhood Advisory Council.
